FAQs.
Hypnosis is the most effective and lasting solution for many of the issues we face in these times. The reason for this is simple...we know real change happens below the level of conscious awareness, and hypnosis is the most direct way to communicate with the subconscious - which is where our core habits and beliefs reside.
In the 50's and 60's it was common for medical practitioners to be trained on and adopt hypnotic techniques to treat patients. Why this has gone by the wayside is a great shame, but a conversation for another day.
I've put together a few FAQs in case hypnosis is something you've considered trying but you have a niggle stopping you. Hopefully these can put your mind at rest so you can
feel ready to move forward toward real change.

Q. Can you make me cluck like a chicken/drink tomato ketchup?
A. This is why stage/entertainment hypnosis is so interesting. On the one hand it proves hypnosis is real, but on the other it generates some fun conversations for me
when it comes to serious change work. Little secret...it's not a con but it's also not an accident who ends up on stage, and they don't do anything they don't want to do.
You'd never do anything that goes against your own core values, and you're always in control.

Q. What if I can't be hypnotised?
A. We all go into trance several times a day. Do you ever get to work and think, I really can't remember that journey? Trance. Cooking, weeding, watching TV, washing the dishes, perhaps a job/hobby that you do repetitively. Anything that you can do without needing conscious input. Trance.

Q. Do I have to tell you everything?
A. Not if you don't want to. But I do abide by a strict code of ethics and my own standards of professionalism.
This is a safe space.

Q. Is Hypnosis safe?
A. Absolutely it is. There are some contraindications it's not deemed safe to work with, which are on the intake form. Also, with some mental health issues that
present I would ask for written permission from the care team/medical team to ensure we're working with you holistically.

Q. Can I deal with all my problems at once?
A. Let's focus on one at a time. That said, people sometimes find that a lot of their issues have their root in one over-arching problem such as lack of self-worth.
Sometimes it can be a domino effect when we solve the main problem, and it's magic to watch when it happens.
